Ghana Hubs Network and GNCCI Partner to Empower Young Entrepreneurs
The Ghana Hubs Network (GHN) and the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the Youth Entrepreneurship Empowerment Project (YEEP).
This initiative aims to equip tertiary-level students in Ghana with the necessary skills, mentorship, and industry exposure to drive innovation and economic growth.
Through this partnership, GHN and GNCCI will provide entrepreneurship training, mentorship programs, internship opportunities, and business incubation support for young entrepreneurs.
Additionally, the collaboration will facilitate networking events, research, and policy advocacy to strengthen Ghana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Yaw Adu-Gyamfi, Chairperson of Ghana Hubs Network, emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between academia and industry, stating, “By leveraging our network of innovation hubs, we aim to nurture young entrepreneurs and create a pipeline of sustainable startups that contribute to national development.”
Mak Badu-Aboagye, CEO of GNCCI, highlighted the Chamber’s commitment to fostering youth entrepreneurship, adding, “This partnership will connect young innovators to industry leaders, funding opportunities, and platforms that will accelerate their business success.”
The three-year collaboration is expected to impact hundreds of young entrepreneurs, fostering job creation and economic resilience.
Both organizations have pledged to work together in mobilizing resources and driving policies that support youth-led businesses.
