Ghana Link Mourns Helicopter Crash Victims

On this day of national mourning, Ghana Link Network Services Ltd stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of Ghana in grief, honour, and remembrance of the eight gallant compatriots whose lives were tragically cut short in the helicopter crash of 6th August 2025. The weight of this loss is one the nation carries together, for these were not just individuals, they were patriots, servants of the Republic, and cherished members of our National Family.

Their courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to duty will forever be etched in the heart of Ghana’s history. They served with distinction, driven by a calling greater than themselves, and in their final moments, embodied the highest ideals of loyalty and sacrifice. In this hour of deep sorrow, we remember not only the tragedy of their passing but the richness of their lives, the strength of their character, and the enduring legacy they leave behind.

We at Ghana Link Network Services Ltd, technical services providers for the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS), believe that true service is never forgotten and that the example of these eight will continue to inspire generations to come. Their stories will remind us that a life devoted to the service of others is a life of purpose, one that resonates far beyond the years it is lived.

The words, “In His will is our peace”, speak to our hearts today. Even in the face of such profound grief, we take solace in the belief that God, in His infinite wisdom, calls each of us according to His perfect plan. Though our human hearts ache, we trust in the divine promise that His ways, though sometimes hidden, are always mysterious. In this truth, we find the strength to press forward, united in hope and faith.

To the families, loved ones, and colleagues of the departed, we extend our deepest condolences. We cannot pretend to know the depth of your pain; however, we pledge to honour their memory by continuing to support their noble work and mission for which they lost their lives. Your loss is our loss; your grief is our grief. May you find comfort in the knowledge that your loved ones are honoured by us all in the Republic they so faithfully served, and that their memory will remain a living testament to courage and service.

May we strive to build a nation worthy of their sacrifice, where their example inspires us to serve selflessly and to love our country more deeply.
