Ghana on the radar of terrorists – National Security Ministry warns
The Ministry of National Security says it has good reasons to believe that terrorists groups operating within the West African Region have Ghana as a target.
In a press release issued by the Ministry on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, the Ministry averred that given the growing threat of terrorism in the sub-region, there is the need to increase security measures within the country particularly in areas of mass gatherings such as places of entertainment or worship like churches and mosques.
The Ministry further in the press release urged Ghanaians to be vigilant and extra careful about their personal and communal security.
