Ghana Premier League: Hearts of Oak Held at Home by Aduana FC
Hearts of Oak and Aduana FC played to an entertaining goalless draw on matchday 5 of the Premier League at the University of Ghana on Friday evening.
Despite having home advantage, the Phobians were unable to secure a win against the Dorma-based side.
Hearts’ early season inconsistencies were evident as they continued their search for a second win. Aduana Stars defender Rich Sackey received a red card for a second bookable offense in the 56th minute.
Hearts goalkeeper Benjamin Asare made several outstanding saves to keep Aduana FC at bay.
The match ended with both teams sharing the points, extending Aduana FC’s winless streak in the league to five matches.
Following this result, Hearts of Oak sit 11th with five points, while Aduana FC is in 17th place with just three points. Eight matches are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
