GIPC extends nominations for 19th edition of Ghana Club 100 Awards

The deadline for making entries for the 19th edition of the Ghana Club 100 awards, hosted by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has been extended from Friday 23rd to Friday 30th September 2022. 

The Ghana Club 100 Awards is a leading corporate awards initiative established by the GIPC. The  awards highlight and promote an open information culture within the Ghanaian corporate sector and serves as an incentive for improved institutional performance.

By developing a uniform criterion for  evaluating performance of corporate institutions, the Ghana Club 100 helps establish an annual  analysis and ranking of Ghana’s corporate sector. 

There will be honors given to the top 100 enterprises as well as the outstanding companies in strategic  sectors, which include Agriculture and agribusiness, financial services, ICT, infrastructure, petroleum,  mining services, manufacturing, tourism, health and education.

Special Awards will also be given to  exceptional corporate performers in other areas, such as Corporate Social Responsibility.

Eligibility Criteria: 

All entrants must be limited liability companies.  

For companies with Government interest, Government ownership should be less than 50%, unless  the company is listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange. All entrants must have a cumulative net operating  profit for the most recent three-year period (2019, 2020 2021) 

Ranking Criteria 

Companies are ranked based on the following 

• Size  

• Growth 

• Profitability

Requirements for Participation are: 

Businesses who wish to be considered for these prestigious awards are requested to fill the application form via this link https://forms.office.com/r/tLe5Xg6Sih and follow the prompts or physically  submit your application with the following documents, addressed to the Chief Executive Officer,  Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Rangoon Lane, Cantonments Accra. 

• Audited financials for 2019, 2020 and 2021 

• 2021 Tax Clearance Certificate 

• Logo of Company 

• Photo of CEO  

• Photo of CSR footprints 

• Links to CSR Reportage 

• Short write up on why your CEO is the best CEO (300 words) 

• One page company profile 

The new deadline for submission is 30th September 2022.
