GOIL and Intercity STC enter partnership for new Ghs 1.7 million terminal facility

In efforts to promote road transport services in the country, Ghana’s leader in the oil marketing business, GOIL, has partnered Intercity STC for the creation of a modern bus terminal in Cape Coast.

The edifice will boost shuttle services across the country, particularly between Cape Coast and Kasoa to the East, and Takoradi to the West as well as promote efficient parcel delivery services. 

Speaking at the commissioning, Managing Director and Group CEO of GOIL, Kwame Osei Prempeh, indicated that the facility cost GOIL 1.7 Million Ghana Cedis for which STC would pay monthly rents.

He said STC’s continued patronage of GOIL fuels for over 30 years is testament to the efficacy of GOIL products.

He called on the generality of the Ghanaian people to show faith with the company through continued patronage of its superior fuels and products which comes at affordable rates.

Kwame Osei Prempeh said, “Our RON 95 is the highest grade on the market, but we sell it at the same price everyone sells the RON 91. Those selling the RON 95 are selling at a higher price.” 

The Managing Director of Intercity STC, Nana Akomeah said the collaboration between the two companies symbolize the positive outcomes that could be derived from a strong relationship between state owned enterprises.
