GPL: 2024-2025 Season To Commence In September

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League season will commence in September.

The new season will have the first round of games takes place at various league centres in the period between September 6 to September 9 with the second round taking place over a three day period from September 13 to September 16.

18 clubs will compete in the next Ghana Premier League season and have submitted the location for their home games for consideration by the Club Licensing Department.

The 2024-2025 league campaign is slated to end on June 7 or June 8, 2025 with all games scheduled to commence simultaneously.

Due to Nsoatreman FC and FC Samartex’s impending run in the CAF Confederation Cup and CAF Champions League respectively, both teams are likely to have outstanding games due to their involvement in the continental competition.

The upcoming season has three debutants in the league with Basake Holy Stars, Vision FC and Young Apostles set to compete in the Ghanaian top flight for the first time.
