In a remarkable month for Heart of Lions and its players, head coach Bashir Hayford, forward Faisal Charwetey, and goalkeeper Lawrence Osei have all been recognized for their outstanding performances in the NASCO Ghana Premier League for November.
Bashir Hayford: Coach of the Month
Bashir Hayford has been awarded the prestigious NASCO Ghana Premier League Coach of the Month for November. Under his guidance, Heart of Lions enjoyed an unbeaten streak, showcasing a formidable defense that saw the team not concede a single goal while netting five of their own.
Key highlights of their stellar month included a narrow 1-0 victory against Asante Kotoko, a home win by the same scoreline against Berekum Chelsea, an impressive away draw with Accra Lions and a commanding 3-0 triumph over Legon Cities.
As part of his accolade, Coach Hayford will receive a 42-inch NASCO television set from Electroland Ghana Limited, a fitting reward for his tactical brilliance.
Faisal Charwetey: Player of the Month
Adding to the accolades, Nations FC forward Faisal Charwetey has been named the NASCO Player of the Month for November. Charwetey’s electrifying performance has caught the attention of fans and analysts alike, as he scored in two consecutive away matches against Karela United and Asante Kotoko. His impressive statistics include four goals in four matches and a NASCO Player of the Match award, highlighting his consistent excellence.
Currently the top scorer in the Ghana Premier League with eight goals in his debut season, Charwetey’s remarkable journey from Division One side Akatsi All Stars to stardom is a testament to his talent and determination.
He will also receive a 42-inch NASCO television set as part of his award.
Lawrence Osei: Goalkeeper of the Month
Completing the triumphant trio is Lawrence Osei, who has been named the November Goalkeeper of the Month.
