Karela United also made a strong start, while Nations FC thrilled fans with a dramatic late comeback, showcasing the competitive spirit of the league early in the season. Here is a wrap of all action on Sunday.

Young Apostles 0–2 Medeama

Medeama opened their 2025-26 Premier League campaign in commanding fashion, defeating Young Apostles 2–0 at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park to move top on goal difference.

The victory places Medeama level on three points with Gold Stars, Nations FC, Asante Kotoko, Heart of Lions and Karela United but ahead on superior goal difference.
