The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) have announced an eight (8) days cut in power supply to the North-Eastern parts of the Greater Accra Region.
In a joint statement issued on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, the two power companies noted that the cut in power supply will commence on Monday, May 10 to the following Monday, May 17.
GRIDCo and ECG in the statement explained that the interruption in power supply is to allow contractors work on its systems to improve upon power supply reliability and system voltages.
“Other needed interruptions in power supply to enable contractors complete the different intervention projects, will be communicated in due course,” said GRIDCo and ECG.
