The benchmark index (GSE-Composite Index)of the Ghana Stock Exchange increased by 3.48 points to close at
2,642.90 points, representing an 8.14% YTD return, while the GSE Financial Stocks Index also rose by 6.30 points to close at 1,684.87 points, representing a YTD return of -17.91%.

Cal Bank PLC. (CAL) saw a second consecutive rise as it gained GH¢0.03 to close at GH¢0.54. Standard Chartered Bank Gh. PLC (SCB) also rose by GH¢0.13 to close at GH¢12.63. There were no decliners on this trading day.

Market Capitalization saw a marginal rise, closing at GH¢67.29 billion. Total volume of shares traded were 36,203 valued at GH¢117,869.92 across seventeen (17) equities.

CAL Bank Plc. (CAL) topped both the volume and value chart trading 22,435 shares valued at GH¢12,040.55 and
representing 10.22% of the total value traded.

This was followed by Standard Chartered Bank Gh. PLC (SCB) trading 5,000 shares, valued at GH¢63,100.00, representing 53.53% of the total value traded.
