GSE-CI remains flat to close at 2,460 points on Monday

The GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) did not record any change on the first trading day of the week to close trading at 2,460.31 points representing a YTD return of -11.80%.

The GSE-FSI also  maintained its level to close at 2,069.89 points, representing a  YTD return of-3.81%. 

A total of 39,796 shares were traded among seventeen (17)  equities ending with one decliner, New Gold (GLD), which shed  GH¢0.90 off its price to close at GH¢235.10.

Market capitalization for the day settled atGH¢64.73 billion. 

Monday’s trading session resulted in a turnover of GH¢2,100,679.10 with Scancom PLC. (MTNGH) emerging as the  most traded stock accounting for 59.27% of the total volumes traded whilst NewGold (GLD) accounted for 96.81% of the total  value traded.
