Hearts of Oak announce the signing of Ebusua Dwarfs captain Dennis Korsah on a 3 year deal

Reigning Ghana Premier League champions Hearts of Oak have announced the signing of left-back Dennis Korsah.

The former Ebusua Dwarfs captain is now a Phobian and has penned down a three year contract with the Accra based club.

Korsah was earmarked as the perfect replacement for Congolese defender Raddy Ovouka who parted ways with Hearts of Oak weeks ago departing to Nex Mexico City.

The Ebusua Dwarfs skipper was a sensation in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season despite his side suffering relegation at the end of the season.

Korsah was involved in 9 goals last season, including scoring in back to back games against Hearts of Oak.

Hearts of Oak are hopeful that his addition of  the talented left-back will strengthen their defence as they look to defend the title they won last season.

Hearts of Oak are fifth on the the league table and are trailing behind eternal rivals and  league leaders Asante Kotoko by ten points after 15 games with the former amassing 23 points and the later 33 points.

The two teams  will face off as the Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced that the postponed Super Clash between Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko SC will be played on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 3pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The fixture was initially set for December 12, 2021 but it was postponed due to Hearts of Oak’s participation in the CAF competition preliminary matches.
