Poll report on Dome-Kwabenya Constituency
- The dismissal of Adwoa Sarfo and possible removal as MP is likely to compound the ruling government’s problems in parliament as the opposition parliamentary candidate, Elikplim Akurugu is poised to snatch the seat from ruling government according new opinion poll.
- The poll, which sample opinion of 538 voters in all the electoral areas of the constituency, had confidence level of 95% and margin of error of ±4.217%, saw Elikplim Akurugu leading the presumption NPP candidate Mike Oquaye Jnr 59% to 34%, with another 7% said they would vote for someone else. The race was virtually tie in February 2022 at 46% apiece.
- The poll shows the doors may have been shut on Hon. Adwoa Sarfo to return as independent candidate as Elikplim Akurugu still leads in a three horse-race . Akurugu obtains 42% of the votes, whilst Adwoa Sarfo obtained 32%. Mike Oquaye Jnr obtained 18% whilst someone, 8%.
