IFRIG Ghana Wins Islamic Finance Institution of the Year at AICIF 2025
The Islamic Finance Research Institute of Ghana (IFRIG) is honoured to announce that we have been awarded the Islamic Finance Institution of the Year (International) at the 2025 Africa International Conference on Islamic Finance (AICIF), held in Lagos, Nigeria, from 4th to 5th November 2025.

We extend our profound appreciation to all stakeholders, the IFRIG Management Team, our distinguished Board Members – especially Alhaji Attahiru Maccido – our general membership, and the entire Ghanaian community for your continuous support. Your prayers, encouragement, and belief in our mission have contributed significantly to this achievement.

We are equally grateful to the organizers of AICIF for the nomination and for recognizing IFRIG’s efforts and impact in the African Islamic finance industry. Our sincere gratitude also goes to Hajia Ummahani Ahmed Amin (C1Arb) of The Metropolitan Law Firm, Madam Jaymaren Yinlaifa of Metropolitan Skills Limited, and Alhaji Mudathir (Akintunde) Adesanya of IFING Media for their exceptional support during our stay in Nigeria.

Finally, we express our appreciation to our strategic partners, including One17 Capital and Noor Takaful, for their continuous commitment and contribution to the growth of Islamic finance across the continent.

This award is not just a recognition of IFRIG Ghana, but a celebration of the collective efforts of all who believe in the advancement of ethical, inclusive, non-interest finance in Africa.
