Inter Milan signs Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea

Inter have finally succeeded in bringing Lukaku back to Milan. Chelsea have given the green light on his return and in doing so, granted the attacker’s wish.

Lukaku did not feel happy back at Chelsea. The Blues paid 115 million euros for the Belgian last summer. One year on, and the striker has left Stamford Bridge to return to the ‘Nerazzurro’.

Chelsea and Inter have reached an agreement for Lukaku. The Italians worked tirelessly to make a deal happen and finally, they have achieved it.

Lukaku has signed until 2023 with Inter. The final deal agreed was a loan. The Belgian is returning to the club he moved to in 2019.

Last season, Lukaku played in 44 matches under Thomas Tuchel’s watch. He started 29 of them but only managed 15 goals. This was half his tally with the ‘Nerazurro’ in the season before.

Lukaku missed his time at Inter and applied the pressure to return. Knowing this, the Italians did all the could on their side of the deal to grant his wish.
