Jared Anderson to fight on Lomachenko vs Richard Commey card on Dec.11

Jared Anderson to fight on Lomachenko Vs. Richard Commey card on Dec.11

America’s next potential heavyweight champion of the future, Jared Anderson, will be fighting on the undercard of the Vasily Lomachenko vs. Richard Commey event on December 11th on ESPN.

Jared’s opponent is yet to be determined for the card. Still, it’s expected to be a step up from the previously undefeated Vladimir Tereshkin that he wiped out in two rounds earlier this month on October 9th on the undercard of Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III in Las Vegas.

Anderson needs a top 15 opponent for him to show off what he can do. For Jared to be giving Fury all he could handle in sparring, it shows that he’s ready to begin taking on contenders in the heavyweight division.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum and Tyson Fury view the undefeated Anderson (10-0, 10 KOs) as a future heavyweight champion.

Only 21-years-old, Anderson still has a lot of growing to do before he’s ready to take the baton from Fury in the future.

Arum will be taking advantage of the Heisman Trophy coverage on ESPN on December 11th, with Lomachenko vs. Commey card coming on afterward.

This will give Lomachenko and Jared Anderson an excellent opportunity to showcase themselves to fans who usually wouldn’t tune in to watch boxing events.

Someone like Alen Babic would be ideal for Jared to fight on the December 11th card, but he’s with Matchroom Boxing and that’s probably not realistic that promoter Eddie Hearn would agree to let Babic be the sacrificial lamb for Anderson.

Anderson was rumored to have given Fury pure trouble in their sparring sessions before his last two fights against Deontay Wilder.

It’s been talked about that Anderson used his combination punching and high-pressure style of fighting to beat up and hurt Fury before his last fight with Wilder.

Although Arum denies that happened, many boxing fans still believe that Anderson did beat Fury up.  The way that Anderson fights would be all wrong for Fury.

“It shows what we think of him, he is going to open that show,” Arum told Sky Sports.

There will be millions of people, having watched the Heisman, will continue to watch boxing and can see what Tyson Fury says will be the next heavyweight champion after him – and that’s Jared Anderson.”

“Tyson said the next heavyweight champion after him is Jared Anderson, and I saw it with my own eyes how Jared gave him fantastic sparring on both of the Wilder fights,” said Arum.

It would be an excellent idea for Arum to give Jared Anderson a real test on December 11th so that the casual boxing fans in the U.S can take notice of him.
