Aboubakar Ouattara Win NASCO Awards for May/June

Nations FC midfielder Kelvin Ampoful has been awarded the NASCO Ghana Premier League Player of the Month for May/June, following his impressive performances throughout the period.

Kelvin Ampoful: Player of the Month

Ampoful scored three goals in five league matches, including a standout brace against Legon Cities during Matchday 31. His contributions earned him three man-of-the-match awards. As recognition for his achievement, Ampoful will receive a 42-inch television set from Electroland Ghana Limited.

Benjamin Asare: Goalkeeper of the Month

Hearts of Oak’s goalkeeper Benjamin Asare was honored as the best goalkeeper for May/June by the Ex-National Goalkeepers Union. Asare’s steady presence helped his team secure 13 points out of a possible 15, with four wins and one draw. He kept three clean sheets, including back-to-back shutouts against Legon Cities and FC Samartex 1996. For his commendable performance, Asare will receive a pair of gloves, a branded towel, a water bottle, and a T-shirt from the Ex-National Goalkeepers Union (NEGO).

Under his leadership, the Phobians achieved a remarkable record of four wins and one draw, scoring seven goals while conceding just one. This success propelled Hearts of Oak to third place in the league standings with 58 points. As a reward for his outstanding coaching, Ouattara will also be awarded a 42-inch television set from Electroland Ghana Limited.
