KT Hammond appointed Trade Minister as Akufo-Addo reshuffles Ministers
President Akufo-Addo has made changes to his government by appointing new ministers for various departments.
MP for Adansi Asokwa KT Hammond will now lead the Trade and Industry Ministry, replacing Alan Kyerematen.
MP for Abetifi Constituency Bryan Acheampong has been appointed as the head of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
Osei Bonsu Amoah has been named the Minister of State at the Ministry of Local Government. MP for Nhyiaeso and former head of MASLOC Stephen Amoah has been appointed as a Deputy Trade Minister.
Mohammed Amin Adam has been named the Minister of State at the Finance Ministry.
Stephen Asamoah-Boateng, former Director-General of SIGA, becomes the new Minister of Chieftency and Religious Affairs.
Herbert Krapa, a Deputy Trade Minister, has been moved to the Energy Ministry as deputy minister.
These changes by the president, aim to bring new perspectives and strengths to various departments in his government.
