CHAN Qualifiers: Annor Walker names final squad ahead of Benin clash
Black Galaxies head coach, Annor Walker, has named the final 25-man squad for the first round of the Championship of African Nations qualifiers against Benin this week.
Ghana will play Benin in the first of two-leg encounters at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday, July 24 before travelling to Benin for the return leg.
Samuel Ashie Quaye, New Edubiase’s Isaac Mintah, Frederick Asare, Solomon Adomako and Gabriel Bonnah are the five players who couldn’t make the final squad after receiving a call up to the provisional squad weeks ago.
To wrap up their preparations, the team beat Kenpong Academy in their final friendly game heading into the all important game on Sunday.
The Black Galaxies are looking to secure a return to the tournament they have failed to take part in since 2014.
