I didn’t know Qatar was a Stonebwoy home – Stonebwoy

Livingstone Etse Satekla known in showbiz as Stonebwoy says he did not know that Qatar was a Stonebwoy home until when his name  landed on the #FansFestival to perform at the just ended Fifa World Cup in Qatar.

According to the Raggae/Dance hall God in an interview on Thursday,  December 22, he was blown away with the massive support and love he received from that experience in Qatar on stage.

“Yoo! I didn’t know that Qatar was a Stonebwoy home, and you know that day was a no match day and so everyone was kinda relaxed and ready for the show. And so when I entered even without my Dj, I was overwhelmed with the massive love and chantings from the crowds….bless up” says Stonebwoy.

According to 1Gad, his performance for that night stood out as the best among the 30 performances that took place in the whole #FanFestival event and he is excited that he was able to place Ghana on that top stage with the thrilling performance and even emerging first (1st).

Additionally, on being questioned how he landed the slot of performing on such a platform, Stonebwoy explains that, “Yeah! Several artist had their debut on the stage and African artists were suppose to as well perform, and I think out of three (3) slots that were left, discussions back and forth fell on me. Even though there were political banters not to get me on but still we sailed through…. you know”

Stonebwoy, who many see as someone so far from God, clears the air that he is a member of the Deeper Life Church Ghana and is always committed to his Christian obligations and responsibilities.
