GSE-CI slips to close at 2,696 points

GSE-CI slips to close at 2,696 points

The benchmark GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) lost 1.15 points to close at  2,696.03 on the second trading day of the week representing a YTD return  of -3.34%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also lost 2.07 points to close trading at 2,118.21translating into a YTD return of -1.56%.

SIC Insurance Company Ltd.(SIC) gained GH¢0.01 to close at GH¢ 0.11whilst Access Bank Ghana PLC.(ACCESS) lost GH¢0.08 to close at GH¢2.02. 

Market capitalization thus dipped by GH¢11.96 million to close at GH¢63.37 billion representing a YTD decline of 1.74% in 2022.

A total of 1,844,988 shares valued at GH¢682,217.12 were traded in fifteen equities (15) compared to 615,728 shares valued at GH¢953,965.18 which  changed hands on Monday.
