US based renewable energy company, Montauk Renewables, listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange’s (JSE) Main Board, making this the first company listing for 2021.
This listing is a secondary listing for the company under the alternative fuels classification. Montauk was previously listed on the JSE as Montauk Holdings. Montauk Renewables is a new listing resulting from the unbundling of Montauk Holdings.
Montauk Renewables is a leader in renewable energy development from biogas and has been specialising in the recovery and processing of methane gas sources for use as an alternative to fossil fuels for over 30 years.
The organisation has extensive experience in the development, operation, and management of biogasfuelled renewable energy projects.
