Morocco to Host 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League With $650,000 Prize Pool
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that Morocco will host the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League Finals from November 9-23.
This prestigious tournament will feature eight clubs competing for glory, with the winners receiving $400,000 and runners-up taking home $250,000.
Morocco previously hosted the tournament in 2022, solidifying its reputation as a key player in women’s football in Africa.
Current champions Mamelodi Sundowns, who have won the competition twice in three years, will defend their title against other top clubs including host team ASFAR.
This event marks a significant milestone in the development of women’s football across the continent, following Morocco’s successful hosting of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in 2022.
