FirstBank Ghana Deepens Customer Relationships Through Impactful Webinars

At FirstBank Ghana, we understand that our customers are at the heart of everything we do. That is why we have created a series of meaningful webinars aimed at adding value to their lives, strengthening relationships, and providing knowledge that is truly relevant to customers’ needs. Since launching this initiative in 2024, we have built a trusted space where customers can engage with subject matter experts that have spoken on topics that matter most to them (our customers) whether in their personal, financial, or professional life.

FirstBank recognizes that each customer segment is unique, deserving of personalized solutions that truly resonate. This understanding has guided us to focus our webinar topics with two segments in mind: students and youth, who represent our future and are preparing to enter the workforce, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), who often seek specialized information to help with important lifestyle and investment decisions. By tailoring discussions to these groups, we listen to, anticipate, and meet the diverse needs of our valued customers.

Since the program began, we have delivered twelve (12) webinars, with more than 1,500 customers participating (excluding staff). It is heartening to see attendance grow with each session, and we are hopeful of at least five hundred (500) participants in our upcoming events, another sign of our ongoing commitment to serving you better.

What truly matters to us goes beyond just numbers; it is about the meaningful relationships we are building with you. We are grateful for your positive feedback, which reassures us that our sessions are empowering customers with practical insights. This reinforces customers’ trust in FirstBank as a bank that genuinely cares about your well-being and goes beyond mere transactions to provide support and guidance for your everyday life.

We have carefully chosen topics that reflect our customer-centric approach. So far, we have covered valuable subjects like “How to Save and Invest as a Student,” “Understanding International University Opportunities for Your Children,” “Starting a Business,” “Alternative Investment Opportunities Outside Banking Products,” and “Building Confidence in the Workplace.” We have also included health and lifestyle discussions such as “Managing Hypertension and Diabetes,” reinforcing our commitment to your overall well-being.

Mr. Allen Quaye, Head of Retail Banking at FirstBank Ghana, shared his thoughts on this initiative: “At FirstBank, our customers truly inspire us. The webinar series is just one way we demonstrate our commitment by providing knowledge, products, and discussions tailored to unique needs. We empower customers with insights that go beyond banking, positioning FirstBank as a dependable partner in your life and work journey. The selection of topics is guided by evolving interests and feedback, ensuring that each session is relevant, practical, and impactful. Our aim is not only to deliver financial solutions but also to establish thought leadership in areas that shape customers’ future.”

Thank you for being a part of our journey.
