betpawa GPL: Tamale City run riot against Hearts, Aduana continue title charge 

Tamale run riot against Accra Hearts of Oak at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Matchday 28 of the ongoing betPawa Premier League as they hit them for 4-1. 

In form Sampson Eduku was on target once again as he scored in the 17th minute to put Tamale City ahead. 

The in-form forward got his second of the day from a spot kick in the 35th-minute as the Yellow and Blue side ended the first half with a 2-0 lead.

Two more goals from Mohammed and Isaac Mensah propelled Tamale City FC to a huge victory over Accra Hearts of Oak which boosted their hopes of avoiding relegation this season.

Victor Aidoo scored the consolation goal for the Phobians who are winless in their last seven away games this season.

Accra Hearts of Oak are currently 6th on the league table with 42 points, while Tamale City FC sit 13th with 35 points.

In other matches, League leaders, Aduana FC continued their quest to win the league this season with a 2-0 home win against Bibiani Gold Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

Medeama Sporting Club returned to winning ways at the Tarkwa T&A Park in a five-goal thriller against Dreams FC.

The Yellow and Mauves sealed all three points, closing the gap on Aduana FC.

Legon Cities made it three wins in their last three games with a 2-0 victory over Accra Lions.

Berekum Chelsea and Samartex also secured victories.

King Faisal were held to a goalless draw by Bechem United at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
