President-elect Mahama Establishes Five-Member Committee for Anti-Corruption Campaign

President-elect John Dramani Mahama has constituted a five-member committee to lead his administration’s “Operation Recover All Loot” initiative, aimed at retrieving proceeds of corruption and ensuring accountability for such acts.

According to a statement released by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson for the transition team of the incoming administration, the committee has been mandated to collect and review information from the public and other sources on alleged acts of corruption by officials of the incumbent government.

The statement emphasized that combating corruption was a cornerstone of Mr. Mahama’s 2024 campaign agenda, with “Operation Recover All Loot” serving as a key policy initiative.

“Anti-corruption, with Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) as a major plank, formed a core part of H.E. John Mahama’s policy platform in the 2024 campaign, and he intends to hit the ground running on these commitments,” the statement noted.

The committee, chaired by Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, comprises:

  1. Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa – Chairman
  2. Mr. Daniel Domelovo – Former Auditor-General
  3. COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye
  4. Mr. Martin Kpebu – Private Legal Practitioner
  5. Mr. Raymond Archer – Investigative Journalist
