Premier League: Nottingham Forest release Andre Ayew after six-month deal

Black Stars Skipper Andre Ayew has been released by premier league side Nottingham Forest following the expiration of his loan deal at the Club on June 30.

He is amongst six players released by Forest following the conclusion of the 2022/23 premier league campaign.

The list includes Cafu, Jack Colback, Jesse Lingard, Jordan Smith, and Lyle Taylor.

The 33-year-old Ghanaian forward made just 13 appearances for Forest, coming off the bench 12 times, playing a total of 306 minutes in that period, with no goals and assist.

The Ghanaian joined Forest on a free transfer following his departure from Qatari side Al-Sadd, making a return to the premier league for the first time since 2018.
