Prez Akufo Addo gifts Hearts of Oak Ghs 1 million head of JS Saoura tie
President Akufo-Addo has gifted 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League Champions Accra Hearts of Oak One Million Ghana cedis to boost their journey in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The President made this kind gesture to the Phobians when the team paid a courtesy call on him at the Jubilee House on Tuesday afternoon.
The Phobians will get their Confederation Cup campaign underway on Sunday, in Accra against Algerian side Jeunesse Sportive de la Saoura (JS Saoura) in a play-off for a place in the Group Stages of the competition.

The return leg is scheduled for December 5, 2021, in Algeria after the champions were thrashed out of the CAF Champions League by WAC.
The Ghana Premier League champions were walloped 6-2 on aggregate following a 6-1 mauling in Casablanca.
Hearts are yet to win a game after that humiliation at the hands of the Moroccans and currently sit in the relegation zone, playing four games in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season with just three points, three draws and a loss.
