GPL: Franck Mbella Etouga voted player of the month of January
Franck Mbella Etouga completed the double delight for Kotoko as he was adjudged NASCO Player of the Month for January.
Leading the goal scoring chart with 15 goals, he bagged in five goals in five games in the month of January.
Aside scoring, the Cameroonian forward was also adjudged the Man of the Match award in two matches.
Etouga started off by scoring a hat-trick against their city rivals Ashanti Gold on Matchday 12 at the Baba Yara Stadium, a game in which he was awarded the Man of the Match award.

Etouga runned the show once again on Matchday 15 as Kotoko hosted Great Olympics at the Baba Yara Stadium.
He banged in two goals in the first half, ensuring his side picked up all three points to remain unbeaten in the month of January. He was once adjudged the Man of the Match award.
Etouga beat off competition from Yaw Annor of Ashantigold and Umar Bashiru of Karela FC.
Etouga will receive a 43 inch NASCO television set from Electroland Ghana Limited as the prize for the award.
