Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC has officially inaugurated its maiden branch in the Volta Region’s capital, Ho. The branch marks a significant step in the Bank’s mission to enhance financial accessibility, inclusivity and economic empowerment as part of its retail strategy.

The government’s commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs aligns perfectly with the Bank’s presence here. I look forward to seeing Republic Bank play a crucial role in supporting market women and nurturing local businesses,” he emphasized.

Togbe Anikpi Dufia, Ho-Heve, expressed his excitement about the Bank’s arrival.  In his address, he praised management for their vision. “Ho is growing rapidly, but youth unemployment remains a concern. I urge Republic Bank to concentrate on job creation and support local businesses. We are ready to collaborate and ensure this partnership promotes progress and prosperity for our community,” he stated.

Republic Bank’s Managing Director, Mr. Benjamin Dzoboku, highlighted the Bank’s remarkable journey and commitment to innovation, customer service, and community partnership. He shared the rich history of the over One Hundred and Eighty-Seven (187) years of existence of Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL), the parent bank of Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC. “This new branch underscores our resolve to support the people of Ho with tailored solutions, including SME, mortgage, investment, Credit Cards and retail banking services. We are not just a bank; we are a partner in progress,” he assured. ‘In Ghana, the Bank has demystified the notion that Credit Cards were the preserve of the elite in society by introducing the four Fantastic Credit Cards, which is a range of credit cards accessible to all income earners.
