Republic Bank Inaugurates its Techiman Branch as the Premier Branch

Republic Bank is proud to announce the inauguration of its Techiman branch to a new, modern, and spacious location, now rebranded as the Premier Branch. This relocation reflects the bank’s commitment to delivering enhanced banking experiences and tailored financial solutions to the Techiman community and beyond.

The grand event was attended by distinguished guests, including Mr. Abdulai Lawal Abubakar, the Regional Manager of the Bank of Ghana, who lauded Republic Bank for its ethical banking practices, and Daasebre Ameyaw Kwarteng Amanaimpong II, Oyokohene of the Techiman Traditional Area and Buoyemhene, who urged residents to continue supporting the bank. Dr. Gladstone Kessie, a valued customer, also shared his success story of owning a home, which was made possible through Republic Bank’s innovative mortgage solutions.  He therefore encouraged customers to entrust the bank with their finances.

In his address, Mr. Benjamin Dzoboku, the Managing Director of Republic Bank emphasized the bank’s strategic focus on empowering MSMEs, Retail, Commercial, Corporate and Mortgage customers. He stated: “The renaming of this branch as the Premier Branch symbolizes our pledge to prioritize your business and financial goals. This modern facility represents not just our investment in infrastructure but in the people of Techiman. We are committed to offering innovative solutions, world-class service, and personalized support to help you achieve your dreams.”

The Premier Branch sets a new standard for banking in the Techiman area, offering improved accessibility, a superior ambience, and comprehensive support for individuals and businesses. The branch also houses Republic Boafo Limited, a subsidiary of the Bank, focused on empowering MSMEs, Mr. Dzoboku added.

Also present at the inauguration event were Mr. Venus Friths, Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL); Mr. Joseph Laryea Ashong, General Manager, Commercial and Retail Banking; Mrs. Evelyn Osei-Tutu, Managing Director, Republic Boafo Limited; Mr. Fred Mensah Anyamesem, Northern Sector Manager; Mrs. Genevieve Aboney, Manager, Marketing and Communications; Mr. Kwame Asiedu, Branch Manager, Techiman; Right Reverend Godson Amankwa Amponsah, Methodist Church, Techiman; and ASP Appiah Danquah, Regional Police Commander, Bono Region.

Republic Bank invites all customers and businesses to visit the Premier Branch and experience the future of banking—designed to support growth, innovation, and prosperity.
