Pierre Gasly to auction his 2024 Senna Tribute Helmet

F1 Authentics – the home of official F1 memorabilia, run by UK-based memorabilia specialist and manufacturer, Memento Exclusives under licence with F1® – will host a special auction on its online platform, in partnership with Pierre Gasly.

The helmet will be worn by the BWT Alpine F1 Team racing driver at the 2024 Emilia  Romagna Grand Prix held in Imola – the location where three-time World Champion Ayrton  Senna tragically lost his life in 1994. The helmet pays tribute to the legend, who is highly considered one of the best F1 drivers of all time.

Gasly has previously named Senna as one of his biggest idols; he recently got to drive  Ayrton’s first-ever F1 car – the Toleman 1984 – at Silverstone, where he also debuted the helmet that will be auctioned. The race helmet will also be signed by Gasly following the race weekend (17th-19th May, Imola).

All proceeds of this auction will be donated to the charity – Instituto Ayrton Senna,  founded by his family. His sister Viviane Senna is the president of the charity – which was formed in November 1994. The Instituto Ayrton Senna works towards supporting children and their education in Brazil – where the Senna family is from.

Pierre Gasly commented: “Ayrton Senna has been a huge inspiration for me since my first days in karting. He is one of the best drivers of all time, not only thanks to his skills on track but also thanks to his persona and way of approaching life. I’m very proud to work with the Senna family and collaborate with the Senna Foundation and tribute one of my

heroes in a very special way this weekend in Imola with the iconic Senna helmet. It’s great  to be able to donate it to the Instituto after the event to an important cause in Brazil.”
