UCL: Real Madrid stun Bayern with late heroics to reach final
Real Madrid secured a thrilling victory in the semi-final against Bayern Munich, setting up a tantalising Champions League final clash with Borussia Dortmund.
Bayern appeared poised for the final until Alphonso Davies scored with a powerful strike assisted by Harry Kane.
However, Real Madrid’s Joselu turned the tide with an 88th-minute equaliser and then netted the winner just two minutes later.
Despite initially being ruled offside, VAR confirmed Joselu was onside, igniting jubilation among Real Madrid fans at the Bernabeu.
With a 4-3 aggregate victory, Real Madrid advanced to the final, where they would meet Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 1 June.
