Samba Foods Signs MoU With Unifa Brothers to Revamp Production Lines

Samba Foods Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Unifa Brothers, a leading supplier of raw materials and packaging solutions, to restore and strengthen its production operations between January and December 2025.

The partnership is expected to ease operational challenges that recently hampered Samba Foods’ output following the breakdown of its main packaging machine and other constraints that led to a slowdown in production.

Under the MoU, Unifa Brothers will supply raw and packaging materials, replace Samba Foods’ primary packaging machine, and provide additional production inputs required to restore full-scale operations. Finished products will, however, be produced by Samba Foods exclusively for Unifa Brothers, in line with agreed standards.

According to the parties, the collaboration will ensure consistent product availability, improve operational efficiency, reduce production costs, and deliver enhanced value to both stakeholders and consumers.

“This agreement with Unifa Brothers marks a significant milestone in the revival of our operations. By leveraging their expertise and resources, we are confident of returning to full-scale production, meeting the needs of our customers, and positioning Samba Foods for sustainable growth,” the company said in a statement.
