GSE-CI remains flat to close at 2,551.74 points

The benchmark GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) did not record any change closing at the same mark as it opened at 2,551.74 points representing a YTD return of -8.52%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also maintained its value to close trading at 2,187.03 points translating into a YTD return of  1.63%. 

On Thursday, ten (10) equities traded on the stock market, ending with no gainer nor decliner.

Market capitalization for the day subsequently remained at GHS 62.24 billion. 

A total of 60,149 shares valued at GHS 42,421.70 was traded on the day. Compared with the previous GSE trading day (Wednesday, June 8), Thursday’s data shows a 97.01% decline in volume traded and 97.63% decline in trade turnover.

Meanwhile, MTNGH accounted for 70.10% of the total value traded as well as 89.45% of the total volumes traded.
