Tottenham Agree £55m Fee for West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus
Tottenham Hotspur have successfully negotiated a £55 million transfer fee with West Ham United for midfielder Mohammed Kudus, signaling a significant addition to their squad. The Ghana international is set to undergo a medical examination before finalizing a long-term contract with the North London club.
West Ham had previously rejected an initial £50 million offer for the 24-year-old, but the revised bid has now secured a deal. Kudus, who boasts an £85 million release clause, joined the Hammers from Ajax in 2023 for £38 million. Since his arrival, he has made 65 Premier League appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing nine assists.
Interest in Kudus has been high, with at least six top clubs expressing their desire to sign the talented midfielder. However, well-placed sources indicate that Kudus has prioritized a move to Tottenham, reflecting the club’s ambitions and appeal.
In addition to the Kudus deal, Tottenham is reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Brentford forward Yoane Wissa, further indicating their intent to bolster the squad ahead of the new season.
