SSTN Ghana Chapter Sets Ambitious Agenda Under New Leadership

The newly elected President of the Stanford Seed Transformation Network (SSTN) Ghana Chapter, Mr. Prince Koblah Arkutu, says the network remains committed to driving economic growth, fostering innovation, and creating sustainable opportunities for Ghanaians.

At the SSTN Ghana Chapter’s Annual Dinner, Mr. Arkutu outlined strategic plans for the 2025-2026 term and assured support for the new government’s efforts to reset the country’s economy.

“The Stanford Seed Transformation Network is not just a gathering of business leaders; we are a collective of indigenous Ghanaian entrepreneurs committed to scaling our businesses, creating jobs, and contributing to the national development agenda through the taxes we generate and the lives we touch,” stated Prince Arkutu.

As part of this year’s Annual Dinner, SSTN Ghana Chapter inducted new companies into the network, These companies are; Agnes Ofosu-Appiah and Nana Akua Oppong -Birmeh – ArchXenus, Desmond Koney – Complete Farmer, Bertha Owusu and Fred Owusu-ThermoTech Engineering and Project, Eugene Boakye – Samospharma Limited, Jones Amegbor and Jerry Amegbor – PayAngel, Sheila Wristberg – IRISK Management Limited.

The network also announced the election of new executives for the 2025-2026 term. The newly elected executives include: Vice President: Mr. William Halm, and Secretary: Mrs.Esther Kesewa Ayisi Aywireng.

Executive Members: Mrs. Hanetta Hayford, Mr. Elloeny Amande, Mr. Godwin Doagbodzi, Coby Asmah, Mrs. Doris Ankama Asamoah, Harry Baskmaty, Senyo Atiase, Theresa Ayoade, Emmanuel Ntim, Nana Yaw Asante, Shaibu Ali and Ronald Tagoe.

These leaders, the network says bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to advancing the chapter’s goals of fostering collaboration, scaling businesses, and driving impact across industries.

Under the new leadership, the SSTN Ghana Chapter has outlined three core priorities including, strengthening bonds among members to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.

It also hopes to drive impact by undertaking initiatives that create measurable value for the economy and local communities.  And achieving excellence by ensuring members align with global standards while addressing local challenges.

The President emphasized that the network stands ready to collaborate with the incoming government to address pressing economic challenges, drive innovation, and build an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

“As Ghana seeks to reset its economy, SSTN Ghana is uniquely positioned to play a pivotal role. Our members are creating jobs, adopting transformative business practices, and contributing to the national tax base. We are ready to partner with the government, offering practical insights and solutions informed by our diverse experiences and deep commitment to the country’s progress,” the President added.

The Stanford Seed Transformation Network Ghana Chapter, part of the broader Stanford Seed initiative, is dedicated to building resilient, innovative businesses that empower economies in emerging markets. Over the years, SSTN Ghana has supported its members in achieving exponential growth, fostering collaborations, and spearheading impactful community projects.

As the network embarks on this new chapter, it is inviting the government, stakeholders, and the wider business community to join in advancing Ghana’s development agenda.
