Las Vegas to Host FIFA World Cup Draw for 2026 Tournament on December 5
Las Vegas has been confirmed as the host city for the draw of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled for December 5. The ceremony will take place at The Sphere, a state-of-the-art venue that opened in 2023 and features a stunning 54,000 square meter screen.
Multiple reports from ESPN and TUDN Mexico indicate that Las Vegas has been selected for this significant event, which will unveil the groups for the expanded 48-team tournament. This World Cup will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, marking a historic collaboration between the three nations.
The upcoming draw will see 12 groups of four nations each determined, setting the stage for what promises to be an exhilarating tournament. Notably, Las Vegas also hosted the draw for the 1994 World Cup, despite not being a match venue at that time, a situation that will repeat itself in 2026.
