UEFA Champions League: Late Drama as PSG, Arsenal, and Qarabağ Continue Winning Streaks

The UEFA Champions League delivered another thrilling night of action, with Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, and Qarabağ all securing their second consecutive victories. PSG struck late to clinch a dramatic win at Barcelona, while Borussia Dortmund continued their impressive form with a commanding performance of their own.

Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Barcelona

In a captivating clash at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, PSG snatched a last-minute victory, thanks to Gonçalo Ramos’ crucial goal. Barcelona initially took the lead through Ferran Torres, who finished off Marcus Rashford’s cross in the 19th minute. However, Senny Mayulu leveled the score before halftime. With the match seemingly heading for a draw, Ramos found the net in the 90th minute, ensuring PSG remains at the top of Group H.

Qarabağ 2-0 Copenhagen

In Baku, Qarabağ maintained their perfect start to the tournament with a solid 2-0 win over Copenhagen. Abdellah Zoubir opened the scoring in the 28th minute, taking advantage of a rebound off the post. Substitute Emmanuel Addai sealed the victory with a long-range strike in the closing minutes. This win places Qarabağ alongside PSG with six points from two matches.

In a thrilling encounter, Manchester City drew 2-2 with Monaco, with Erling Haaland scoring twice on his 50th Champions League appearance.

Napoli 2-1 Sporting CP

Napoli earned their first points of the campaign with a 2-1 victory over Sporting CP, thanks to two goals from Rasmus Højlund.

Marseille 4-0 Ajax

Marseille secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Ajax.
