Limited to 30 people, the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral will be a royal goodbye like no other. Prince Philip was keen to have the absolute minimum of fuss after his death and, because of coronavirus restrictions, the ceremony on Saturday will be even more muted than he had planned.

Here is the official list of people attending the event in St George’s Chapel behind the walls of Windsor Castle:

  • The Queen, 94, who married Philip in November 1947.
  • The Prince of Wales (Prince Charles), 72, his eldest child and next in the line of succession.
  • The Duchess of Cornwall, 74, Charles’s second wife whom he married in 2005.
  • The Duke of Cambridge (Prince William), 38, the elder son of Charles and second grandson of Philip. He is second in line to the throne.
  • The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, who married William in 2011.
  • The Duke of Sussex (Prince Harry) 36, the second son of Charles and fourth grandchild of Philip and the Queen. His pregnant wife, the Duchess of Sussex, has stayed in California on medical advice.
  • The Duke of York (Prince Andrew), 61, the third child and second son of the Queen and Philip.
  • Princess Beatrice, 32, the elder daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York.
  • EdoardoMapelliMozzi, 38. He married Beatrice, a granddaughter of Philip, last year.
  • Princess Eugenie, 31, the younger child of Andrew and his ex-wife.
  • Jack Brooksbank, 31, who married Eugenie, Philip’s granddaughter, in 2018. They welcomed their first child in February, giving him Philip as a middle name.
  • The Earl of Wessex (Prince Edward), 57, the youngest child of Philip and the Queen.
  • The Countess of Wessex, 56, Edward’s wife.
  • Lady Louise Windsor, 17, daughter of Edward and a granddaughter of Philip.
  • Viscount Severn, 13, son of Edward and grandson of Philip.
  • The Princess Royal (Princess Anne), 70, the second child and only daughter of the Queen and Philip.
  • Vice-Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, 66, Anne’s second husband. They wed in 1992.
  • Peter Phillips, 43, the Queen and Philip’s eldest grandchild and the only son of Princess Anne.
  • Zara Tindall, 39, second child of Anne and second grandchild of the Queen and Philip.
  • Mike Tindall, 42, Zara’s husband and father of their three children: Mia, Lena and Lucas, who was born last month.
  • The Earl of Snowdon, 59, son of the late Princess Margaret and a nephew of the Queen.
  • Lady Sarah Chatto, 56, the only daughter of Margaret and a niece of the Queen.
  • Her husband, Daniel Chatto, 63, an artist and former actor.
  • The Duke of Gloucester, 76, the youngest grandchild of George V.
  • The Duke of Kent, 85, a first cousin of the Queen.
  • Princess Alexandra, 84, a first cousin of the Queen, who had a close relationship with Philip.
  • Bernhard, Hereditary Prince of Baden, 50, heir to the head of the German House of Baden and a great-nephew of Philip.
  • Prince Donatus, Landgrave of Hesse, 54, son of the German aristocrat Moritz, Landgrave of Hesse and a descendant of Queen Victoria.
  • Prince Philipp of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, 51, a grandson of Princess Margarita of Greece and Denmark, and a great-nephew of Philip.
  • Countess Mountbatten of Burma, 67. She was the duke’s carriage-driving companion and one of his closest confidantes.
