Women’s Premier League: Hasaacas Ladies beat Lady Strikers 3-0

A transformed second half display saw Hasaacas Ladies FC start season with a 3-0 win against Lady Strikers.

Jafaru Rahama opener and Success Ameyaa’s double ensured Hasaacas Ladies made easy work of Lady Strikers with a 3-0 win.

Hasaacas Ladies returned to the Sekondi Gyandu Park for the first time since a 2-0 win against Northern Ladies in the quarter finals stage of the FA Cup.

Coach Yussif Basigi made slight changes to the side that won the First Lady’s Cup.

Grace Banwaa maintained her place in the post. Shine Blessing and Lauratu Issaka were the central defensive pair flanked by Perpetual Agyekum and Asante on the left and right defense.

Faustina Nyame Aidoo, Doreen Copson and Evelyn Badu were in the heart of the midfield and leading the attack were the trio of Comfort Owusu, Jafaru Rahama and Veronica Appiah.
