GSE-CI remains flat; closes at 2,460 points on Monday

Benchmark index – the Ghana Stock Exchange Composite Index (GSE-CI) – remained flat to close trading at 2,460.12 points on Monday 0ctober 3, 2022, representing a YTD return of -11.80%.

The GSE Financial Stock  Index (GSE-FSI) also maintained its value to close trading at  2,070.10 points, translating into a YTD return of -3.80%.

The local bourse recorded no price movement as market capitalization for the day settled at GHS 63.99 billion.

A total of 3,332,747 shares were traded across seven (7) counters. These trades cumulated into a turnover of GH¢2,981,682.11.

Scancom PLC. (MTNGH) emerged the most active stock at the close of the first trading session of the final  quarter in 2022, accounting for 94.81% of the total value traded  and 96.39% of the overall trade volume.
