GSE benchmark index remains unchanged to close at 2,543 points

The Accra Bourse did not record any change closing at the same mark as it opened at 2,543.22 points representing a YTD return of  -8.82% on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also maintained its value to close trading at 2,171.56 points translating into a YTD return  of 0.92%. 

Twelve (12) equities traded on the stock market ending the day with no gainer and decliner.

On the back of this, market capitalization of the GSE settled at GH¢61.99 billion. 

A total of 32,161 shares valued at GH¢104,584.34 was traded on the day. Compared with the previous GSE trading day (Monday, June 13), today’s data shows a 95.68% decline in volume traded and 82.74% decline in trade turnover.

GCB Bank PLC. (GCB) accounted  for 78.58% of the total value traded as well as 51.11% of the total volumes traded.
