Kotoko officially announces the signing of Stephen Amankona on a 3-year deal
Asante Kotoko has officially announced the signing of forward Stephen Amankona ahead of the start of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season.
The highly-rated attacker has penned a three-year deal with the club following protracted negotiations with his club weeks earlier.
Amankona joins the Porcupine Warriors for a deal reported to be in the region of $30,000 from Berekum Chelsea.

He was spectacular for Berekum Chelsea last season and that attracted keen interest from the two most glamorous clubs in the country, Hearts and Kotoko with the latter getting the services of the monstrous attacker.
He was sensational in the league, scoring 15 goals in all competitions in the 2020-21 season coupled with 7 assists and 3 man of the match recognitions.
Amankona becomes the 12th signing the Porcupines have made ahead of preparations for next season which begins on October 29th.
