National Communications Awards 2021: UBA Ghana’s Edward Asare wins Digital Marketing Professional of the Year

National Communications Awards 2021: UBA Ghana’s Edward Asare wins Digital Marketing Professional of the Year

Multiple award-winning Digital Marketer, Edward Asare has been adjudged the Digital Marketing Personality of the Year at the just ended 3rd National Communication Awards held at the Labadi Beach Hotel on 11th December, 2021.

Edward was nominated alongside George Agyeman- Budu (IBG Social) and Rhoda Odoi (HypeNet Digital Marketing) for the Digital Marketing Personality in the Print and Online Media Category.

Speaking about his win, Edward said, “This award is a testament to the work I have done over the years in the digital space- helping brands thrive and sharing human interest stories. This award is dedicated to all my followers and to everyone who has supported my journey. I have come this far because your support.”

This was not the first time the trailblazer received an award for his outstanding achievements in the Digital Marketing space. In 2020, he was named the Digital Influencer of the Year at the Ghana Youth Excellence Awards and was also nominated for the Youth Blogger and Digital Marketer of the Year.

Earlier this year, he was named as one of the Top 50 Ghanaian Bloggers by Avance Media, Africa’s leading Rating & PR firm.

This year’s event under the theme; “Transforming Ghana’s Economy through Digitalization” brought together industry players in the media and communications industry and awarded over 80 nominees in various categories.
