Highlighting the distinct and authentic traditional richness of made-in-Ghana products and the country’s rich cultural heritage, there were opportunities for business and investment for Ghanaians, its diaspora, and people from all walks of life in an informal setting to display their products and services and also a platform for investors, businesses and the public to network and set the stage for future fruitful collaboration.

Most people present were clothed in traditional Ghanaian colours as this year’s Taste of Ghana 3.0 Festival featured all the leading designers showing the skills and modern clothes that they have and was a great time for all those who love fashion.

The handwoven kente garments of the Ewe and Akan are the prominent and most distinguished textiles in most regions of Ghana and they were largely represented in the exhibition stands from brands across the country coupled with top artistic terms in visual, performance, and auditory arts like ceramics, textiles, architecture, painting, and sculptures.

Like the previous events, the various delicious foods and drinks in Ghana were available with key ingredients such as maize, beans, rice, yams, cassava, and plantains. Foods like Tuo-Zaafi, Beans with plantain, Banku, Fufu, Kenkey, Jollof and many others were accompanied with Ghanaian drinks like plamwine, asana, bissap juice, fula and many others.

Ghanaian music was not left out as people were thrilled with live band performances from top Ghanaian acts like Tinny, Obrafour, Samini, Gyakie, Kofi Kinata, Edem, DBlack, Stonebwoy among others.

Taste of Ghana is an initiative aimed at exposing the diverse Ghanaian culture to the world and is being organised by Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority and support from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Ministry of Information, Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), Ghana EximBank, Beyond the Return, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Diaspora Office.
