Amin Adam, Dr Addison leads Ghana’s delegation to IMF Spring Meetings

Finance Chief Mohammed Amin Adam and Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), Dr Ernest Addison, are leading Ghana’s delegation to this year’s IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings.

The Spring Meetings currently underway in Washington, D.C., begins today, Monday, April 15 and ends on Friday, April 20.

Top on the list of matters to be discussed by the Finance Minister and the Governor with IMF authorities will be the swift approval of the $360m third tranche of the $3bn bailout by the Executive Board of the IMF.

It is also expected that the Governor and the Finance Minister will have discussions with representatives of the country’s two international bondholders following the rejection of a debt deal by the two groups on Monday, April 15, 2024.
