Alan Kyeremanteng the preferred candidate to lead NPP in 2024 – Report
Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyeremanteng, has been identified by supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) as their preferred presidential candidate for the 2024 general elections.
Per a survey conducted by Ghanaian research firm, Global InfoAnalytics, 35.5% of NPP supporters prefer Alan Kyeremanteng as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2024 elections.
This is against the 33.2% of NPP supporters that prefer the Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2024 general elections.
In an earlier survey conducted by Global InfoAnalytics in January this year, 39.7% of the supporters preferred Dr Bawumia to lead the party in 2024.
This was against 28.1% of the supporters that preferred Alan Kyeremanteng to lead the party in 2024.
Alan Kyeremanteng’s lead in the second survey by Global InfoAnalytics, marks a significant fight back by the Trade Minister in the presidential candidature race between him and the Vice President.
