Ana’s refutes entrapment claims by Charles Bissue
Leader of the Tiger Eye P.I., Anas Amereyaw Anas, has denied claims of entrapment by the then Secretary of the Inter Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining, Charles Bissue, pertaining to his documentary on the “galamsey” menace involving Mr Bissue.
In a statement issued on Friday, October 7, 2022, by Tiger Eye P.I., Anas described as lies, assertions made by Mr Bissue in a “desperate” attempts to defend his misconduct as captured in the documentary.
“Tiger Eye’s position, conduct and approach to all investigations are based on truth, facts and audio-visuals evidence. Any claims or allegations to the contrary are false and without merit.
“Mr Charles Bissue engaged in bribery and corruption and Tiger Eye uncovered this in the form of audio-visual evidence when undercover journalists posed as owners of an abandoned mining company,” read parts of the statement.
“We urge the public to disregard the wobbly attempts by Mr Bissue and his collaborators to fend off the damning revelations contained in the Galamsey Fraud expose, as those attempts are nothing but the kicks of a dying horse,” it added.
